The Last Piece

Of the puzzle. This is my latest—and last—action figure . . . at least for a while. Cost me a fortune and I flew clear to California to pick him up.

Now all I have to do is put in ALL the guys. Say hello to Chicago Gangster: Robert.

The Day the Sky Froze

And I trudged all the way up the virgin-flat road, foot-deep snow untouched by anyone except me since last week's snowstorm, leaving a lonely trail which will likely stay that way until I walk there again . . . -28°C/-18.4°F windchill, -18°C/-0.4°F air temperature.

Christmas 2015

It's almost 4, but I'll take some quick time out to post some rare photos in which I am the subject that I managed to get our friend Marc to take this evening. He did a good job: I look like an evil crime boss presiding over my dungeon of nameless toys. Which is the name of my new band: Dungeon Of Nameless Toys.

Good job, Marc. Now, about my head . . . but I love the blocks of intense color and lines. Very painterly.

Came back from California with a new boy. He fits right in with the rest.

 This is the 1/6 action figure from Blitzway of Al Pacino in the movie Carlito's Way. This is possibly the most stunning action figure I have ever seen. It cost me a pretty penny, too: US$285. This is an expensive hobby.
